Treatment of infertility in women with endometriosis

Endometriosis, a disease characterized by ectopic endometrial implants throughout the pelvis, negatively impacts fertility. Although endometriosis impairs reproduction, it does not usually completely prevent pregnancy. A combination of surgery, ovulation induction with intrauterine insemination, and assisted reproductive technology can help these women conceive.

This topic will provide an approach to treatment of infertility in women with confirmed endometriosis. Other aspects of endometriosis are reviewed separately:
