If you forget your user name or password

If your current e-mail address is listed with UpToDate Customer Service, you can use our automated retrieval system to obtain your user name and password:

  1. Go to www.uptodate.com.
  2. On the UpToDate home page, click the Log In link in the upper right corner.
  3. In the Log In box on the next page, click the Forgot your user name or password? link.
  4. On the user name and password request form, enter your e-mail address on the form, then click Send Request.

If the e-mail address that you entered matches the one that we have on file, we will immediately send you an e-mail containing your user name and a new password. You can log in to UpToDate online using these. We recommend that you immediately change the new password to one of your own choosing, which you can do through My Account after you have logged in.

You can also contact Customer Service directly via phone or email for additional assistance.
