概述
大多数全身性肌病并不影响眼外肌。然而,也有一些例外值得注意。慢性进行性眼外肌麻痹(chronic progressive external ophthalmoplegia, CPEO)是一个非特异性术语,用来描述一系列累及眼外肌的肌病。这些进行性眼肌麻痹包括:
- 孤立性CPEO
- Kearns-Sayre综合征

- 强直性肌营养不良
- 肌管性肌病
