引言

下肢慢性静脉疾病包含了静脉系统形态及功能异常的整个疾病谱。此类疾病可以是出现于儿童期的先天性病变，也可以是到成年时颇为常见的早发性获得性疾病。静脉相关问题不一定有症状，并且包括大量不同的临床体征(从最轻度的浅静脉扩张到出现溃疡的慢性皮肤改变)。

术语

在静脉疾病诊断的标准定义方面已达成了国际性共识[1]。

慢性静脉疾病 — 该术语包含了静脉系统形态及功能异常的完整疾病谱。

慢性静脉疾病 — 当出现长期的形态或功能异常(静脉瓣膜功能不全)，且表现出的症状和/或体征提示需要治疗和/或进一步检查时，可使用术语“慢性静脉疾病”。静脉瓣膜功能不全可通过双功能超声示持续时间异常的静脉血反流得以确定。(参见“慢性静脉功能不全的诊断评估”)
