Uterine inversion is a rare obstetric emergency usually occurring in the immediate postpartum period after the third stage of labor. The incidence is reported to be between 1 in 550 to 1 in several thousand deliveries. Delayed postpartum uterine inversion is even less common, and may present a management challenge. We report a case of delayed postpartum uterine inversion that was managed laparoscopically.
